Every dollar stays right here in the Greenbrier Valley
GVSA has no paid positions and no office — what you give goes straight to local kids, through programs like Archery in the Schools, JROTC, the Youth Squirrel Hunt, and the Hattie Rae Callison Memorial Scholarship Fund. Every member pitches in a $50 annual fee too, before a single outside dollar is even asked for.
Kids outdoors, with mentors alongside them
GVSA is entirely volunteer-run, so a gift doesn't go toward overhead or salaries — it goes toward the things you can see in the Gallery: grants to local Archery in the Schools programs and the JROTC Air Rifle Team, the Hattie Rae Callison Memorial Scholarship, fishing poles and tackle for local kids, the Youth Squirrel Hunt, and keeping Youth Day free every fall.
Everything GVSA raises stays with local groups in Greenbrier, Pocahontas, Monroe, and Summers counties.
100% volunteer-run
No paid staff, no paid positions — members even pay $50 a year themselves to belong.
Every dollar stays local
Raised in the Greenbrier Valley, spent in the Greenbrier Valley, on local kids.
Real, named impact
Grants to archery and JROTC teams, nine scholarships awarded in 2025, and free events for local kids — all in the Gallery.
